We are Laura & Rodrigo (you can call him Ro), the couple behind Telar Design & Build. We are Argentine Architects (Laura born in the the U.S.) with over 15 years of experience between the two of us in architecture and construction. Since 2013 we have worked as project designers and managers for architecture firms as well as construction companies. From 2016-2019 we had our own firm in the Argentine Pategonia, where we designed and remodeled homes and small businesses.  In 2019 we relocated to Philadelphia and have spent the past 3 years serving as project designers and managers for universities all over the country renovating small and large dining halls and retail spaces, completely gutting and renovating our home, as well as starting our family.

 

We are more than excited to once again branch out on our own and do what it is that we're passionate about, on our own terms. We love the historic homes and neighborhoods Philadelphia has to offer and, as busy parents ourselves, are painfully aware that the architecture and layouts aren’t always conducive to modern living.
